Drawing on the ancient spiritual devotion of the Stations of the Cross, we invite you to participate in a journey of reflection and discovery in the city of Oxford.
Through an exploration of 14 works of art and artefacts, leading academics, theologians and artists will invite you to reflect on the story of the Passion and our own capacity for compassion.
Use the map to direct you to locations where key works can be found - in both religious and secular spaces, from churches to museums, and even city rooftops.
When you find a work of art, put your headphones on, press play and listen to short commentaries by artists, historians, theologians and others. In these podcasts they will share some of the spiritual responses they have to these works.
We invite you to take time to contemplate these works.
